Use the option that matches the visit state. Save a copy of the current note before regeneration if you need to preserve its exact wording.
If the visit is still active
Choose Pause when needed.
Choose Continue Recording or Resume to add more audio.
Choose End Visit only when the encounter is complete.
If the visit is completed
Open the visit.
Choose Add Audio, Continue Recording, or the blue plus button when that is the option shown.
Record or attach the additional audio and wait for it to finish processing.
Choose Regenerate Note so the new audio is included.
Review the entire regenerated note before charting it.
What this can and cannot do
Adding audio is useful when the original visit exists and you captured important information separately. It cannot recover audio that was never saved or uploaded. If the original visit is missing, contact support before clearing app data or reinstalling.
