Choose or switch a note template

Select the right template before a visit or apply another template to an existing note.

Choose the template that matches the encounter before recording. Changing a template on an existing visit regenerates the note, so save a copy first if needed.

Before a new visit

  1. Start a new visit and choose the patient.

  2. Open the template selector.

  3. Preview the available template when that option is shown.

  4. Select the template that matches the note type.

  5. Confirm the selected template before Start Recording.

For an existing visit

  1. Copy the current note if you need to preserve it.

  2. Open the visit and choose Change Template.

  3. Choose Select Template and select the new template.

  4. Confirm the change and wait for regeneration.

  5. Review the entire new note before charting.

If the template you need is missing

Refresh the app and confirm you are in the correct account or organization. If support recently assigned a template, sign out only after all recordings are safely uploaded, then sign in again. Contact support to request or refine a custom template.
