The easiest way to get started is to record your first visit in the Skriber iOS app. The app is the recommended path for most users.
Before the visit
Install and open the Skriber iOS app.
Sign in with the email you want tied to your visits and notes.
Choose the correct note template if your account has template options.
Confirm your microphone is working.
Make sure your phone has a stable connection and enough battery.
During the visit
Start the visit in Skriber.
Keep the app open while recording.
Keep your screen awake.
Speak naturally with the patient.
End the visit when the encounter is finished.
After the visit
Stay in the app while the visit uploads and processes.
Wait for the note to generate.
Review the note before using it.
Edit, regenerate, copy, or download the note as needed.
Using your desktop EHR
If you recorded on iPhone but chart from a computer, sign in to app.skriber.com on your computer with the same email. Open the visit, then copy or download the note into your EHR.
Important
Do not force-close the app, switch apps, lock the screen, or disconnect from the internet while the visit is recording, uploading, or processing.
