Regenerate a note

Generate a new version after changing audio, template, language, Context, or Custom Instructions.

Regeneration creates new note wording from the available visit content and settings. Copy the current note first if you need to preserve it.

When to regenerate

  • You added or resumed audio.

  • You selected a different template.

  • You changed Preferred language.

  • You updated Custom Instructions or Visit Context.

  • The transcript exists but note generation needs another attempt.

Regenerate

  1. Open the visit.

  2. Confirm the template, instructions, Context, and audio are correct.

  3. Choose Regenerate Note or Re-generate Note.

  4. Wait for the new note to finish.

  5. Review every section before charting.

What regeneration does not do

It cannot recreate audio that never uploaded. It also does not guarantee the same wording as the prior version. Contact support if a usable transcript exists but the note repeatedly fails to generate.
