How to edit your notes

Review, manually edit, copy, and download Skriber notes before using them in your EHR.

Always review your generated note before copying it into your EHR, sending it to a patient, or signing documentation.

Manual edits

  1. Open the visit or note.

  2. Click into the section you want to edit.

  3. Make the correction.

  4. Review the full note after editing.

  5. Copy or download the final note when ready.

When to use manual edit

  • Fixing a small wording issue.

  • Adding a detail you verified from the chart.

  • Removing content that should not be included.

  • Correcting formatting before copying to the EHR.

When to use Magic Edit

Use Magic Edit when you want Skriber to help rewrite or reformat a section, such as making a plan more concise or changing bullets into paragraphs.

When to regenerate

Use Regenerate when the note needs to be recreated from the transcript, especially after a template or custom instruction change.

Clinical review

You are responsible for verifying the final note. Confirm diagnoses, medications, instructions, follow-up, and any clinical details before signing or sharing the note.
