Use Skriber with your EHR or EMR

Understand direct EHR integrations and the copy/paste workflow for other EHRs.

Skriber can fit into both integrated and copy/paste charting workflows.

Direct integrations

Skriber supports direct EHR integrations for Athena, eClinicalWorks, and Epic. These integrations may require setup, permissions, and organization approval.

All other EHRs

For other EHRs, use the copy/paste or PDF workflow unless Skriber support has configured a custom workflow for your account.

Copy a note into your EHR

  1. Generate and review the note in Skriber.

  2. Select Copy Note to copy the full note.

  3. Open the patient chart in your EHR.

  4. Paste into the correct note area.

  5. Review formatting and make any EHR-specific edits before signing.

Copy a section vs the full note

Copying a single section may copy only that section's body text. Use Copy Note when you want the full note, including headings.

Download a PDF

If your EHR workflow supports attachments, use Download PDF and attach the file in the chart according to your organization's policy.

Phone to desktop workflow

If you record in the Skriber iOS app, you can open app.skriber.com on your computer with the same email and copy the note into your desktop EHR.
