Skriber Clinical Evidence helps clinicians ask questions, review an answer's source trail, and continue with follow-up questions. You can open Evidence on its own without first recording a visit.

Ask your first question
Open Evidence in Skriber's navigation.
Enter a focused question in Ask Evidence. Specify the question's purpose and relevant population or context. You can start with a general question that contains no patient information.
Choose Deep evidence for a longer discussion and source trail, or Quick answer for a shorter summary.
If needed, open Sources to choose among the available source groups: Guidelines & references, Drug & safety, and Research & reviews.
Select Ask, then review the answer and its references.
For a first test, try: Explain how a clinical practice guideline differs from a systematic review. Cite the organizations or publications used.
Review the sources, not just the summary
Open Top Sources to inspect the displayed references. Use an Open source link when available to read the original material. Check that the reference supports the specific claim, is applicable to the question, and is current enough for the decision.
An answer's confidence label or source count is not a substitute for that review. If a source card lacks a usable link, or the source does not support the answer, verify the point independently before relying on it.
Continue the question or keep the result
Use Ask a follow-up to continue with the previous answer as context. Select New question when you want a separate thread. The workspace provides recent chats, Save chat, and Copy controls.
Other available workflows
The interface includes starting points for guideline lookup, medication questions, red flags, and patient-facing wording. Add context supports contextual questions, and the Evidence plan describes document and patient-note context. Use only information your organization has approved for this workflow.
These are assistance workflows. Review the sources and all patient-specific details before using an answer or draft in care, documentation, or patient communication.
How Evidence relates to Skriber's medical scribe
The scribe captures or accepts dictated visit audio and creates a draft clinical note. Evidence supports a question-and-reference workflow. You can use Evidence independently, and an active Skriber subscription includes Evidence access.
If your main goal is a note in your preferred format, start with Skriber's templates and customization tools. If you need to explore the supporting literature or ask a clinical question, open Evidence and inspect the references behind the answer.
