Use Ask AI safely

Ask questions about a visit, summarize content, or reformat text while keeping clinical judgment in control.

Ask AI works from the visit content available in Skriber. Review every answer before using it in a chart or patient communication.

How to use Ask AI

  1. Open a completed visit.

  2. Choose Ask AI.

  3. Select a suggested prompt or type a focused question.

  4. Compare the answer with the transcript, note, and source chart before using it.

Useful requests

  • Summarize the key points discussed in this visit.

  • Was medication adherence discussed?

  • Rewrite the documented plan in patient-friendly language.

  • Shorten this assessment and plan without adding facts.

  • List details in this note that I should verify.

Clinical limits

Ask AI may not have the complete chart, outside records, current medication list, allergies, labs, or context that was not captured in the visit. Do not use it alone for emergency triage, diagnosis, prescribing, interaction checks, or final clinical decisions.

Privacy

Use Ask AI only for information that belongs in the Skriber documentation workflow. Do not paste patient information into support messages when troubleshooting the feature.

Still need help?

Open the support messenger in the bottom-right corner of this Help Center. Include the email on your Skriber account, the device and app or browser you used, a short description of what you see.
