EHR Sync versus Copy Note

Choose EHR Sync, Copy Note, section copy, or PDF for your charting workflow.

Every subscriber can review a note and use copy or PDF actions. EHR Sync is an optional setup for supported browser-based EHR workflows and may require an add-on or organization approval.

Copy Note

Use Copy Note when you want the full reviewed note, including its section headings, on the clipboard. Open the correct patient chart, paste into the intended note field, and review formatting before signing.

Copy one section

Use a section copy action when the EHR has separate fields. A section copy may include only that section's body, so confirm the EHR heading before pasting.

Use Download PDF when the organization permits an attachment workflow. Confirm that the PDF is attached to the correct patient and encounter.

EHR Sync

When EHR Sync is available, Skriber can send reviewed note content into supported EHR fields through the browser workflow. The note may show Sync to EHR, and My Plan may show an EHR Sync product or add-on.

  • If the app asks you to add EHR Sync, open SettingsMy Plan and review the displayed price and terms before confirming.

  • If billing is managed by an organization, an administrator may need to add it.

  • If Sync to EHR is not shown, use Copy Note or PDF and contact support with the EHR name to ask about current availability.

  • Do not assume a logo or browser extension alone means the workflow is enabled for your account.

Always review before signing

No transfer method replaces clinical review. Confirm the patient, encounter, section placement, diagnoses, medications, orders, and final wording in the EHR.

EHR Sync availability was verified in the production web application on July 16, 2026. Supported configurations can change, so the in-app entitlement and support confirmation are the current source of truth.
