Language support in Skriber

Choose the generated-note language and understand the difference between spoken audio and interface language.

Skriber's note-output setting is separate from the language of the app interface and from the language spoken during a visit.

Generated note language

Open SettingsMy AccountPreferred language. Current note-output options are:

  • English

  • Spanish

  • French

  • German

  • Portuguese

  • Polish

The selected language applies to generated notes. Review the output carefully, especially when the visit contains multiple languages, code-switching, names, medications, or specialty terms.

Spoken visit language

Speak naturally and use clear audio. Skriber can process multilingual speech, but recording quality and mixed-language conversations can affect transcription. The Preferred language controls the note output; it does not translate every word of the transcript on demand.

Interface language

Interface translations are separate and can vary by app and version. The current web language set includes English, Polish, Arabic, Farsi, and Hindi. Changing the interface does not change the generated-note language.

Change an existing note's language

  1. Save a copy of the current note if needed.

  2. Change Preferred language in My Account.

  3. Open the visit and choose Regenerate Note.

  4. Review the regenerated note before charting.

Language options were verified against the production web app on July 16, 2026.
